Dear LinPepCo Customers,
We recognize that with the constantly changing COVID-19 situation around the world, this is an unprecedented time for everyone — a time that, for many, is filled with uncertainty. As a valued customer or partner of LinPepCo who sells our products — I want you to know that we understand the importance of these products to your business. You rely on us so that your business can satisfy the needs of the consumers who visit your place of business and buy our products, and we understand the responsibility that entails. Meeting that responsibility day in and day out, in any environment, is our primary focus.
In response to the current situation, we are continually examining all areas of business operations at each of our warehouse sites and have taken actions to ensure continued service to our customers.
✓ Effective on June 1st: In order to help provide and maintain a safe working environment for every LinPepCo employee, we now require those employees who work in the trade, or, are in direct contact with account customers, consumers, visitors, or clients, whether in the trade or within one of our facilities, to wear a mask that has been supplied by the company, or an employee-owned mask that has been approved by the LinPepCo Safety Director.
✓ Effective on July 3rd: In order to help provide and maintain a safe working environment for every LinPepCo employee, we now require all employees to wear masks in each facility, when the employee is in any general working area. These general working areas include, but are not limited to, hallways, walk aisles, restrooms, breakrooms, fleet shops and warehouses. Employees who work in the trade, or, are in direct contact with account customers, consumers, visitors, or clients, will still be required to wear a mask that has been supplied by the company, or an employee-owned mask that has been approved by the LinPepCo Safety Director.
First and foremost, our focus is on the health and safety of our employees and our customers. We have communicated extensively the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines to our employees in an effort to practice proper distancing and personal hygiene. Per additional CDC recommendations, we are vigilant in requesting that employees do not come to work if they are not feeling well or have had any symptoms of COVID-19. Finally, we have implemented additional precautionary measures including expanded cleaning of high touch areas within our facility, limits on outside personnel allowed in to our facility, tracking of employee’s personal travel, issuance of gloves for employees who handle our products, and issuance of masks to all employees.
This is all part of our plan to continue to operate our distribution facilities with as little disruption to our customers as possible, so long as conditions permit and a safe and secure workplace can be maintained.
