Service/Installation Technician – Lincoln, NE – Job# 607

Hours: Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm, rotating on-call weekends     apply-now

General Summary Description Repairs, performs preventative maintenance and installs soft drink units and equipment.


  • Service calls to the customer for the purpose of repair, maintenance or installation of soft drink equipment; including but not limited to vendors, coolers and fountain equipment
  • Perform in-house repair and maintenance and prepare for installation of soft drink equipment.
  • Stock service truck with parts and supplies.
  • Account for product and money from vending machines
  • All related clerical duties and reports related to service calls and service records

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent with mechanical aptitude

Training and Experience: Mechanical and refrigeration Trade School training helpful

Additional Requirements: Licenses/Certification: Motor vehicle license, safe driving record – must supply proper documentation

  • Mechanical systems involved in soft drink equipment
  • Requires moving large, heavy equipment frequently with mechanical aides
  • Safety procedures involved in moving large, heavy equipment with mechanical aides

Work Environment: Working in close, confined spaces occasionally; exposure to weather elements; occasional dust and unpleasant odors; on-call requirements; requires long, irregular hours during peak seasons; exposure to refrigeration gases; exposure to cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
